Huntsville Spring Festival of Flowers

Huntsville, AL Spring Festival of Flowers | Martinson & Beason, P.C.Spring has finally sprung, and with it comes a wonderful local festival!

This year, the Huntsville Botanical Garden will continue a local rite of spring and community favorite: the Spring Festival of Flowers.

The Festival of Flowers offers visitors the chance to, literally, stop and smell the roses. The garden will feature thousands of bulbs, colorful spring annuals, wildflowers, dogwoods, azaleas, and container plantings for visitors to admire.

In addition to touring the garden, you can stop by the Spring Plant Sale. The largest in the state, the sale offers an enormous selection of plants, including the following:

  • Annuals (by the flat or pack)
  • Ferns
  • Geraniums
  • Herbs
  • Heirloom plants
  • Houseplants
  • Orchids
  • Perennials
  • Roses
  • Vegetable plants
  • Water plants
  • Wildflowers
  • Shrubs
  • Vines
  • Trees

All of the plants at the sale have been carefully chosen to thrive in Alabama.

The Spring Festival of Flowers will last throughout the entire month of April, while the Spring Plant Sale will take place April 17-21.

While you tour the gardens and shop for plants, you’ll also enjoy Music in the Garden. Each Saturday and Sunday, the Huntsville Botanical Garden will have musicians playing in the Cedar Glade area.
