Martinson & Beason, P.C. is pleased to announce that Morris Lilienthal has been selected as a Rising Star for the Mid-South Super Lawyers. This year marks the fifth straight selection for Morris as a Rising Star Super Lawyer, having first been selected in 2013. The award goes to attorneys who have a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement in their area of practice. The Super Lawyers program is intent on creating a credible listing of outstanding attorneys that consumers can use in finding legal counsel. The Rising Star award goes to the top 2.5% of Alabama attorneys under forty (or those who have practiced less than 10 years) in recognition of their high achievement in legal ability, professional standards, and peer recognition. The Mid-South area encompasses the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
Nominees are evaluated in a rigorous process that combines peer review and independent research conducted by the Super Lawyers organization. After receiving a nomination, candidates are selected based on their verdicts/settlements obtained, experience, representative clients, professional activity, pro bono and community service work, amongst other factors.
Morris focuses his practice on helping injury victims obtain the compensation and legal recourse they deserve. His practice areas include personal injury, car accidents, wrongful death, nursing home abuse, and products liability. Morris is also rated AV Preeminent by the rating service Martindale-Hubbell and was selected as a Top 100 Alabama Trial Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers.
Morris and his wife Shannon have a seven-year-old son Wyatt. Shannon is a teacher at Madison Elementary School. Morris is a member of the Madison Rotary Club and his family is a big supporter of the March of Dimes.
